Dr. Sheeba (Senior Pastor) and Samuel (Worship Leader), both grandchildren of pastors from India, were raised in different cities yet carried the same legacy—a generational calling to serve God. Though they came to the U.S. for academic pursuits—Sheeba for her Ph.D., Samuel for his Master’s—they were truly seeking something deeper: God’s will for their lives.

In a foreign land, their companionship in the Lord became the foundation of a shared calling. Through repentance and surrender, they rediscovered Jesus and embraced the ministry mantle that had been passed down to them. Their union was more than marriage—it was a divine covenant forged for kingdom purpose.

As the world shut down during the pandemic, God opened a door. Just two months after their wedding, they launched Emmanuel Church on Zoom, stepping into Isaiah 55:5:
“Surely you will summon nations you know not… because of the Lord your God… for He has endowed you with splendor.”

From a small virtual gathering, Emmanuel Church grew into a thriving spiritual family rooted in prayer, discipleship, and the Word. Today, the church has entered its next chapter—a physical home for the vision God birthed through their obedience.

Together, Sheeba and Samuel lead with humility, truth, and bold faith. Their daughter, Abigail—the joy of her father—is a living reminder that God’s promises are generational.
Their story is a testimony to divine timing, covenant purpose, and the beauty of a life fully surrendered to God.
